It's pretty hot and muggy in DC right now, so the more time we can be inside the better. We enjoyed our morning in the Museum of Natural History. We enjoyed the large mammal hall, the ancient American display but finally spending a significant amount of time viewing all the amazing rocks and precious gems. Later in the day, when Riley and Caitlyn were settling down for the evening and enjoying some time with Megan (Caitlyn's sister), Lara took Sydney and Charlie out to the National Mall for sunset.
