Beach Day
We arrived in San Sebastián this afternoon to over cast and rainy skies. We have 2 beach days on this gorgeous beach and it looks like it'll be a rain out. That didn't stop Emma, Charlie, and Sydney from swimming in the ocean with all the surfers in their wet suits. Big waves and cold water do not intimidate them. Eric, Maren, and I watched from the shore - maybe tomorrow we'll have to rent some bogie boards. I can tell they would feel more comfortable with a bogie board at their sides.
Eric jumped on a flight tonight at 9:00 pm for Madrid. He meets Stewart tomorrow morning at 8:30 am in the Airport and then they both hop on a flight back to San Sebastián. We'll have our family reunion at the bus stop in the plaza in the middle of town. I'm sure it'll be quite the scene and unlike the Salt Lake airport, nobody will know what's going on.
After the cold swim in the ocean we tracked down a place for take out pizza and watched Newsies. (Good thing I downloaded so many movies to our iPads)
Tomorrow will be a great day rain or shine!
