The beautiful beach

We didn’t make any big plans for today; we knew that we would all need some R&R after a hectic last week of school and work and busy time getting all the last-minute things ready for our trip. After sleeping in and breakfast we headed to the beach. We managed to find some lounge chairs under a palm tree, but there were some little gnats that kept bothering us so we decided being by the pool would be best. Sydney and Lara took advantage of the free kayaks and headed out to the open waters to enjoy the ocean and the sun. There aren’t big waves, so we found it easy to maneuver. The pool was nice, and despite some cheesy dancers from the resort trying to get the crowd into a dance party, we enjoyed eating nachos and swimming, napping, reading, and relaxing. It was great.

After dinner ate at the Italian restaurant, we didn’t even stay up late to play games - still too tied to do much, so we went to be early.
