The Quick Turn Around

Wednesday, June 8 - Mexico to SLC

We didn’t need to leave the resort today until noon, so we decide to squeeze in just a few more resort activities before heading home. We started the day with a game of corn hole (just Andrea, Sydney, and me - Andrea’s girls were still sleeping). Sydney beat us, although Andrea and I had a rally at the end that helped us catch up within just a few points for the loss. After a yummy breakfast of waffles, crepes, eggs, salsa, fruit, donut things, and juice we headed off for a walk along the beach. Walking in the sand was actually really hard with my pulled hamstring.

Thursday, June 9 - SLC

Today was spent visiting a sports medicine doc and running to get some PT for Lara. Also, a visit to the pharmacy to load up on medicines, wraps, and first aid ice packs. Sydney was busy getting her BYU school schedule sorted out and meeting with the nursing department.

Friday June 10 - SLC to LAX to Lima

We finished up the last-minute packing and errands needed today and then meet Maren and Grandma for a nice lunch at the Harmon’s Cafe. We had a mid-afternoon flight to LAX, then a red eye to Lima. Tired!
